Pre-Race Sounds Light and Alternate Released! Hey, NASCAR Racing 2003 Season is the best NASCAR Racing Simulation and probably the best Racing Simulation in general. But there's one thing I've always missed in NR2003.

The Auto Racing team at USA TODAY Sports talks all things racing. We'll talk NASCAR, IndyCar, small tracks, dirt tracks, it's all on the agenda. We'll interview drivers, team owners, pit crew and anyo. 181 Followers. Stream Tracks and Playlists from Start Your Engines on your desktop or mobile device. The Pre-Race Announcements and Music which were a basic thing in most NASCAR titles by EA Sports since NASCAR Thunder 2003 or earlier.Sadly, they dropped that after NASCAR 2005 Chase for the Cup.It became steril racing until 2011 when Euthechnyx released NASCAR The Game 2011, and they continue the atmosphere at its best. Last night, I decided to bring something from this atmopshere to NR2003. Download Link for the Light and Alternate Version: Light replaces the general 'Drivers Start Your Engines' Speech -> gsye.wav Alternate replaces the 'Drivers To Your Cars' Speech -> reminder.wav I recommend to only use one of the Versions at a time. Preview Video Released. [ame='Racing 2003 Pre-Race Sounds - YouTube[/ame] Today I started to work on it.

After I finally found the 'Drivers, start your Engines' sound files and installed a friends Music Maker program, this quick project began. NR2003 has 12 Main Sound Files and 4 Extra Sound Files with Babies and Kids sayin it. I took the 'ambient' sound files from NASCAR Sim Racing and the 'Jet' Sound from NASCAR Thunder 2004, the Jet-Sound are actually all the same in the PC-Versions of Thunder 2003, Thunder 2004 and SimRacing. Alright, just thought about that I may picked a wrong channel and rate Damn, lucky I didn't do all 48 already, just the first 12 with one ambient LOL Oh God, thank you I had to change the rate for the gsye.wav file to 22050 too ^^ It sounds great in the game, sadly the engine fires up in between:/ however, the pace car is driving few seconds after it the music ends ^^ Gonna edit the ogg. I can't save ogg. Files as mono, only as stereo.the program pops up an access_violation error. Yeah that would have made some things easier but you would have to always change files if you want to hear a different instrumental (artist, orchestra, trumpet, guitar) sound.

I'll look into that Edit: The Files are done so far (except for artist) I just hope the game will play em in stereo channel. I haven't tried all sounds (dunno if it picks the ogg files or not.only heard the.wav files so far.but it seems that it's timing just fits the moment before the pack starts to roll. Lol About the reminder, that works and keeps playin when you hit drive ^^ I'll create 4 sounds with the jets for this method (cause the speech will be picked by the game I won't need to do more).

Tsunami is a bigger, better brother to the. It starts with the same polyphonic WAV file playback engine, then adds a bunch of new features. • First, Tsunami features eight analog outputs, which can be configured as either eight mono outputs or four stereo outputs. • In stereo mode, it can simultaneously play 18 stereo WAV files. • In mono mode, it can play back 32 mono WAV files.

• Mono mode also offers a track synchronization option, which allows for playback of multichannel content, including quadrophonic, 5.1 and 7.1 surround formats. • Tsunami also features a stereo audio input that can be mixed into any combination of the outputs. • Each output provides independent, real-time volume control and pitch bend.
