Same thing with my GE. I took off the pront plate holder only to find the same hole. I was pissed. Why does it require 3 fasteners to hold it on? I think the two on the bottom would suffice. As far as a solution goes you could either put the plate holder and plate back on, take the screw out and live with the hole, see if a 96-00 civic license plate hole blockoff won't work (depends on what color your Fit is), or get a brand new front bumper (that's only if you're made of money and absolutely can't live with having a hole dead smack in the middle of your bumper). I find it outrageous that people would accept this terrible service.
